About…..
Ruth McAllen
Following my personal experience of bereavement, I know how disorientating the pathway of grief can be. Life catapulted me into widowhood at a young age, grief came uninvited, it was both a mystery and an isolating experience. I had to learn how to live again.
My mission is firstly to see grievers receive the help they need at such a difficult time. Secondly, to give the opportunity for supporters to gain an awareness of the chaotic journey of loss with ideas for offering support.
I have over 20 years’ experience of working with the bereaved and it is a joy to coach grievers, watching lives being transformed.

‘It was a very important evening for me. After a recent enormous loss it was validating hearing things from a griever’s point of view. Thank you so much for a wonderful and special evening, I have already had some great feedback and people felt it was so gentle and warm and really insightful.’
